The problem

A shop needs to ring up sales, issue receipts and invoices, follow quotes, watch its stock and know what it actually earns. The first JasperTrack already did part of this in daily use; version 2 had to cover the whole picture.

What we built

JasperTrack v2 is the second version of JasperTrack, completely redesigned at Jasper Tech. It is a desktop application that works locally on the point-of-sale computer.

  • Sales and receipts
  • Invoicing with VAT, and tracking of paid and unpaid invoices
  • Quotes that convert into invoices
  • Products and inventory, with low-stock alerts
  • Expenses and margins
  • A history of operations for each user

The stack

Electron for the desktop app, React and Tailwind CSS for the interface, SQLite for local storage, Node.js and Vite.

The screenshots use a generated demo database: every company, client and amount in them is fictional.
